Chloé Sucrée, Sharing A Simple And Natural Lifestyle

She regained her health with a simple and natural lifestyle. Motivated by her experience, she created a blog to explain her case and publicize her recipes.
Chloé Sucre Being Biotiful

My name is Chloé, I am 30 years old and I am expecting my second baby! I am Belgian-Swiss, but I feel Spanish, having lived here for more than 20 years. I currently reside in Barcelona, but the last few years I have lived in Peru and Vietnam.

My passion for healthy food goes back a long way. My parents always cooked and they knew how to transmit that pampering to me, that taste for well-cooked and homemade food. I was born premature and, since I was little, I suffered from some diseases that affected my immune system and, above all, my digestive system.

It took a long time before I found my physical, emotional and digestive balance through organic food, based on the plant world, simple and healthy. It was not always easy, as the process of learning and trial and error can be long, and many times it goes wrong.

From experience to Being Biotiful

Today I feel better than ever, with energy, I know my body and I know what feels good and bad for me, and I realize the importance of maintaining a consistent life with a healthy diet. That is, pay attention to how emotions affect you, how you live your life and how you take care of your environment.

Once I realized how important it was for me to eat this way – especially prioritizing organic, non-processed, clean food – I felt that I wanted to share my experience with the rest of the people, because others would be going through the same situation as me and could help them.

As they say, the intestine is the “second brain” and, if it is altered, it can affect us a lot, even promoting depression.

I am a psychologist, although specialized in the world of communication, and I have always felt a very strong connection with children. For this reason, I started giving basic cooking courses for the little ones, focusing on simple recipes, the usual ones, but with a healthy touch, avoiding sugars and refined flours and trying to explain to them the reason for each food.

Little by little, I was gaining confidence in the kitchen, creating my own recipes. And I decided to start a blog. But I realized the importance of a good text and good photographs. I wanted to create recipes that were accompanied by colorful, captivating and beautiful photos, but also tell a story or anecdote about those dishes.

There was more and more interest in my recipes and how to change the way we eat. I noticed a lot of concern about how to take care of yourself and eat in a more conscious and healthy way.

Beingbiotiful, the blog created by Chloé has over time become a (biotiful) environment where she exhibits her gastronomic and photographic creations. She has more than five thousand followers on Facebook and is very active on Instagram.

Networks are a means of making yourself known and reaching out to people with the same interests, says Chloé. But you have to be persistent and consistent in substance and form. It has helped her to improve her writing and gradually create a personal style in photography.

This is what my blog is about, how one can feel good and energetic eating healthy, with plant foods: fruits and vegetables, legumes, seeds, nuts, unrefined flours, natural sugars …

A simple feeding, without complications, labels or restrictions. Without obsessing over imposing rules, especially if you have little ones at home. Now that I am a mother, I realize how important it is to start from a young age with healthy and natural habits, but without forcing them or wanting to impose themselves, because many times you get the opposite result.

My new passions

Today, apart from my blog, I also dedicate myself to preparing recipes for brands or products that fit with my philosophy of life and I create styles and photographs for kitchen products …

A passion that I discovered relatively recently and that fills me more and more. A little over a year and a half ago, my partner gave me a semi-professional camera when I realized how important it is to take care of the aesthetics of the photos, the colors, the light, the contrasts …

It is still a learning process, as it is not easy, but I love it. There is not a day that I don’t take a photo, following the valuable advice that a great photographer friend gave me: “Practice, practice, and practice.”

Then you will learn the technical part of the camera, to work with light and compositions, which is the hardest thing for me… But I think that little by little I have been able to develop a personal style and I hope to continue learning.

A difficult start helped Chloé Sucrée to access a healthy lifestyle. She was born at six months and had digestive and intestinal sequelae and autoimmune problems.

He discovered the healing power of a healthy, vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free diet. And today he is crazy about hazelnut cream, tahini, dates, ginger …

He has lived in Brussels, Morocco, Paris, San Diego, Peru… And he dreams of moving to Biarritz with his family.
